As part of your pre-departure information that is sent out once you book up you will also be given a dedicated number to call InterHealth on from Mon-Fri between 2-3pm. You can speak to a doctor or travel nurse directly who will be able to help with your general health questions.
InterHealth focus on making their knowledge and expertise as widely available as possible. This is why they continue to develop their Travel Health Advice Centre (THAC) to support the health and well-being of volunteers and travellers from all around the world.
Their healthcare team has a wealth of international experience and expertise in travel medicine. They draw on this in addition to authoritative international sources and the latest research to provide a wide body of information.
Please note for individual advise you will need to visit your own doctor or travel nurse. They will have your medical history and details of any allergies etc. Please give yourself enough time to check out your health requirements before you travel.
It is up to the individual traveller to ensure they have all the necessary inoculations needed for their chosen destination. Check with your doctor or travel nurse for individual advice, and if in doubt just get in touch with us on 0845 121 1996.
Once you have your inoculations sorted remember to take the origional copy of your vaccination certificate as the immigration officials may ask for this when you arrive. For some destinations a copy will not be accepted so its important that you travel with the origional document.
