When you book up on a Madventurer trip you will be able to access the Full Trip Notes which will give you details of what to Pack plus lots more info. You can find out what to do on arrivals, departures, itinerary, how to pay, visas, currency, local culture/language, safety, security, flights and travel insurance. Nomad Travel Stores and Clinics have been kitting out travellers with clothing, equipment, books and maps, medical supplies and vaccinations for more than 16 years.  Nomad will provide a 10% discount to all Madventures.  When you book up just get in touch with us for the promotional code to use.

When you book a place with Madventurer we will provide you with a discount code that will give you 10% off all kit and equipment on the Nomad Travel online store or at their high street stores.

Community project and placement donations

If you are getting involved in one of our community projects then here are a few suggestions of what you could bring to your host village.  The children love pens, pencils, colourful text books, colouring in books, paper, teaching aids like posters or wall charts or anything that can record their achievements in school, story books with more pictures, skipping ropes, board games, sports equipment, footballs (deflate in your luggage and bring a pump), face paints, badges, any arts or crafts materials, song sheets to learn, maps, musical instruments like recorders, photos of you and where you live.  The children love to see how their lives differ from our volunteers.  Basically anything that you can squeeze into your luggage would be greatly appreciated.   

Remember to check your luggage allowance with your airline or airport before you set off.  If you are doing a more specific placement (medic, teaching) then just contact us if you would like to chat about what to bring.

Or you can bring cash and buy some supplies during your project, just ask our overseas crew for help and suggestions of what to buy.  Most supplies will be a lot cheaper and you will be helping to boost local businesses as well.   Give us a call on 0845 121 1996 or email elainel@madventurer.com with any questions!
