Located in Northern Thailand in the lush green Chaing Mai province, working as part of a group building and or teaching.On this project the mission is to complete a building project in 5 weeks and teach English to the local hilltribe children.
The accommodation provided is in pairs with local host families thatare very friendly and welcoming. There is a large community involvementand the projects work with dedicated NGO partners . It is a challengingproject and there are a lot of opportunities to learn new thingsincluding the hilltribe language, Thai cooking and knowledge about thelocal customs and beliefs.
Thailand is an incredible place to explore on the weekends and afterthe project too, with colorful night bizarre markets selling clothesand jewellry, gorgeous food with spicy flavours; rickety tuk-tuk's,stunning temples, beautiful beaches and the wonderful happy Thai smileyou may not want to leave!
