Skydiving
Experience the thrill of jumping out of a perfectly good aeroplane 2 miles above the ground and hurtling back down at 120 miles per hour.
Securely attached to a very experienced skydiving instructor, you will exit the aeroplane at between 10,000 and 14,000 feet above the ground, giving you an amazing 40-60 seconds of freefall (it will be the longest and most thrilling moment of your life). You will descend to 5,000 feet at which point your instructor will deploy your parachute. You will then have a 2-3 minutes parachute ride before your instructor will bring you into land.
Madventurer is organising a fundraising skydiving event in May. If you want to skydive to raise funds for the Madfoundation or if you are on a project and want to skydive to help reach your fundraising target you are more than welcome to come along.
The event will take place at a skydiving centre in the North East of England. If you can’t make it to the North East alternative arrangements can be made. It is also possible to arrange to skydive at any time of the year.
You have to be prepared to commit to raising a minimum of £300 part of which will cover the cost of the skydive.
It will also be possible to buy a video of the skydive on the day. Subject to availability.
