What Can You Do…?

Madventurer run Award Winning Projects and Adventures lasting from 2-12 weeks in 10 spectacular destinations. You will be working as part of a team alongside local communities in developing countries around the world in our Projects, or you can work alongside a small number of volunteers on one of our more specialist Placements which are done in conjunction with some of the best NGOs and local organisations worldwide.

Every Project is led by one of our experienced Madventurer Crew Leaders and all of our Projects are run in partnership with local organisations when there is need for additional expertise. On our other Placements you will still have regular contact with our Mad Crew overseas as and when you need the support.

Where Can I Go?

Madventurer run Projects in 10 countries on 4 continents and Adventures all over the globe!

You can combine Community Building Projects, Teaching Projects, Medic and Care-work Projects or Sports Projects in the same or different countries even in different continents! Our team at Mad HQ are happy to discuss any possible options and we have Crew and representatives on-hand in-country to facilitate almost any combination.

Call 08451211996 to speak with one of our experts about possible Project/Adventure combinations.

We offer so many amazing and exciting projects around the world so why not combine 2 or more projects to create an unforgettable trip! You could find yourself assisting in an orphanage in Uganda on the shores of Lake Victoria and then fly over to kenya (or the more adventurous out there could go overland) and help to build a primary school for a rural community in the breathtaking Rift Valley. There are a whole host of options to choose from in some of the most beautiful destinations around the globe.

Go MAD - Make A Difference!

Building and Teaching Projects

Based in small remote villages in stunning rural locations, you will be part of a team of up to 16 people and a Crew Leader, living and working together to Build and /or Teach in the local community.

Madventurer Community Projects focus on building basic infrastructure to assist local community development. Our key focus is youth development and the provision and improvement of health, education and sanitation facilities such as schools, classrooms, clinics, toilets, water storage tanks, community centres and sanitation facilities.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to teach English and other subjects in local primary schools as well as getting involved in extracurricular activities like Sports Coaching or arts and crafts.

Each project is owned and led by the community to ensure its sustainability. Madventurer work closely in partnership with village chiefs, NGOs and local charities which means each Madventurer project group is fully integrated into village life, living and working as part of the community.

Sports Coaching Projects

The ultimate opportunity for anyone with a passion for sport & travel, our Sports Projects allow you to utilise your skills and experience - at whatever level - to coach children and adults in the developing world.

Sport is a universal language that can engage and motivate people. As well as improving the health, fitness and physical awareness of participants, sport is a powerful educational tool to teach the importance of team work, discipline and respect.

Working with children who may have never had regular PE lessons or structured coaching is a great opportunity to teach basic rules, techniques, skills and tactics of your favourite game to people who may never have had that privilege before.

As well as coaching during the day, you will be able to train with local teams to develop your own game in the evenings and travel and explore at weekends.

Madventurer have established long-term relationships with our Project partners ensuring that you are given every opportunity to experience and learn first-hand the day-to-day skills and techniques used locally.

Tailored to suit your interests and level of experience, each Project is thoroughly researched and set up in advance by Madventurer Crew who will continue to provide all the introductions, advice & support you need throughout your stay.

As well as making a valuable contribution by helping out and offering a fresh perspective, you will learn & develop new skills whilst experiencing the culture & society of a vibrant foreign town or city, giving you the perfect base to explore the country at weekends.
