The MAD Foundation > 3 Peaks Challenge

3 countries, 3 mountains, 3407m …. are you up for the challenge?!

3 good reasons:

• Raise funds towards a Madventurer Project

• Contribute to our charity ‘The Mad Foundation’

• Donate a percentage of funds raised to the work of the Mountain Rescue Council and National Trust*

Join Madventurer on an epic 24hr adventure as we travel from the Highlands of Scotland to the Welsh Valleys, via a trek to the summits of 3 very big mountains!

When: June 2008

Where: England, Scotland and Wales… phew!

Costs: We ask that each venturer contributes approx £50 participation fee. This covers the cost of petrol, food and vehicle hire.

For non-venturers and Mottey Tribe members we ask for the participation fee, in addition to a minimum fundraising contribution of £100 to the Mad Foundation

* There has been much discussion about the negative impact that participants of the 3 peak challenge can have on the environment in terms of erosion, litter and noise pollution. In accordance with guidelines drawn up by the Institute of Fundraising we will be keeping the group relatively small and making everyone aware of the issues, in order to minimize our impact. We would also encourage participants to contribute 3% of funds raised to assist the work of the National Trust and Mountain Rescue Council.
