Home to some of Africa's friendliest people, Ghana is the place where MAD began back in 1998 and we've been here ever since! Formerly known as the Gold Coast, Ghana has stunning beaches and scenery but it's the warmth of the people and the vibrancy of their culture that will take your breath away. Overall Experience -"The best experience, I would recommend it to everyone. Ho is amazing, you feel like part of the community. As I'm going to be a teacher I found going to the school very interesting. It was lovely that you were able to do what you wanted, they were very flexible and welcoming"
Overall Experience - "The best part of the project were the people and being able to share all these fantastic experiences with other volunteers! (Although the sports bar crawl organised by the crew comes rather close!) It was an outstanding experience! Truly the trip of a lifetime! Thank you so much for all the information and handy info. I've returned a different person and made strong friendships with the other volunteers, definately helped sharing a house with them. I think this worked so well due to the nice group size - not too big or too small."
