East Africa - A taste of Africa, 24 days Kampala to Zanzibar

This trip costs £480 and has a local kitty payment of approx USD$590 , this should be paid on the first day of your trip locally. There are departures once or twice a month.
Days 1 - 3
UGANDA
Early morning transfer from Kampala to Jinja, departure meeting by the While Nile and Bujagali Falls, Kampala.
Optionals: White water rafting, village walk, bungee jump, kayaking, boat trips, voluntary work in a local school, quad biking, horse riding.
Lake Victoria and Entebbe, Kampala, drum markets, Queen Elizabeth National Park including a game cruise and game drive, Kabale and/or Lake Bunyoni.
Optionals: Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
RWANDA
Kigale, Ruhengeri and the Virungas.
Optionals: Genocide museum and memorial, mountain gorilla trek in either Parc Nacional de Volcans (Rwanda) or Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda), golden monkey trek, visit to Dian Fossey's grave, orphanage and preschool visit.
TANZANIA
Mwanza, Game drives in the Serengeti, The Grumeti, with guided game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, Mto Wa Mbu markets, evening celebratory barbecue on our arrival in Arusha.
Optionals:Game walks and evening game drives in the Grumeti, Olduvai Gorge Museum, Maasai Village, camel safari.
Days 18 - 24 Dar Es Salaam, the chance of views of Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam camp by the Indian Ocean and seafood bbq. Optionals: Free time to stay on Zanzibar Island from day 20, returning to Dar es Salaam on day 24. Talk with us as to the special arrangements we can make for your accommodation and other arrangements on the Island staying in beach cottages and in the exotic capital, historic Stone Town, with a spice tour. Other options to budget for include snorkeling excursions to Prison Island, famous for its giant tortoise population as well as Mnemba Atoll, dolphin boat trips, Jozani Forest hike to see the red colobus monkeys, scuba diving. All accommodation and transfers including spice tours on Zanzibar Island can be arranged ahead of time.

Uganda Volunteer Project 7th July - 27th of July for 3 weeks, then this Adventure on 1st August - 24th August. This would give you a few days in between each trip to chill out and get from the end point to the starting point of each trip. We can help you to co-ordinate this don't worry.
