Get up close and personal with the big five, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Zanzibar, Malawi, rhino trekking, rafting the Zambezi and finale in Jo'burg.
These trips depart once or twice per month and has a local kitty payment of approx USD$380, this should be paid on the first day of your trip locally.
Days 1 - 5
KENYA - TANZANIA
Depart Nairobi, across the Athi plains driving through to our camp in Arusha. Departure meeting.
With evening celebratory barbecue on our return from the game parks.
Optionals: Afternoon and morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park, afternoon drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation area, morning game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, Maasai Village, Olduvai Gorge Museum, camel safari.
Days 5 - 11
TANZANIA including 4 nights allotted for Zanzibar Island....
The chance of views of Kilimanjaro, Dar es Salaam camp by the Indian Ocean and seafood bbq.
Optionals: Free time to stay on Zanzibar Island from day 7, returning to Dar es Salaam on day 11.
Talk with us as to the special arrangements we can make for your accommodation staying in beach cottages and the traditional capital, ancient Stone Town and other requirements on the Island including transfers and spice tours. Other options to budget for include snorkelling excursions to Prison Island, famous for its giant tortoise, as well as Mnemba Atoll, dolphin boat trips, Jozani Forest hike to see the red colobus monkeys, scuba diving. All accommodation and transfers with a spice tours on Zanzibar Island can be arranged ahead of time.
Days 12 - 18
TANZANIA - MALAWI
Drive through Mikumi National Park, Lake Malawi beach camps, village visits including for a traditional meal and curio markets.
Optionals: Water sports, horse riding in the Lake, Livingstonia hike, school visit.
Days 18 - 24
MALAWI - ZAMBIA
Lilongwe, South Luangwa National Park for game drives (season pending), Lusaka.
Optionals: Evening game drives in Luangwa (season pending), houseboat cruise including guided game walks.
Days 25 - 28
ZAMBIA (ZIMBABWE)
Livingstone and Victoria Falls.
Optionals: Lion walks, elephant rides, rhino treks, bungee jump, gorge swing, abseil, flying fox, white water rafting, 'flight of the angels', breakfast drift canoe, sunset cruise, interactive drumming and many other activities based around the Victoria Falls.
Days 29 - 31
ZAMBIA - BOTSWANA - SOUTH AFRICA
Chobe safari Lodge with game cruise, Johannesburg.
Please note safari itineraries are given as a guide only. A safari is a journey and true journeys in Africa unfold and are of an adventurous nature. The unexpected can arise, so do allow for this.
This is an extremely popular safari and does tend to get booked up very quickly throughout the year.
